Ad media formats
Ads can be supplied in the following formats, on CD or DVD or via email. However supplied, all advertisements should be accompanied, where possible, with a hard copy print out. It should be noted that particularly with email, proof of transmission is not proof of receipt, neither is email always instant.
Programmes
View Magazine can accept the following:
Preferred format: PDFs at pass4press specification.
QuarkXpress 6.5, 7. Illustrator and Photoshop. In all instances files should be tiffs, jpg or eps with cmyk images and fonts embedded. Word documents can also be accepted. Please bear in mind that in some instances picture quality may suffer. Care should be taken to place pictures and graphics at high resolution. In some cases, the file will have to be recreated in Quark or InDesign.
Graphics, pictures, etc., should always be supplied at a minimum of 300dpi.
We cannot accept in any circumstances files created in Corel, Freehand or Publisher, unless saved and supplied as Press ready PDFs.
